Commercial Greenhouse Continental

Product Description:

Agra Tech's Continental Greenhouse is a Gothic Gutter Connect structure designed to be covered with poly. A 4' wide continuous single or double ridge vent can be added to provide excellent natural ventilation. Extra large gutters add strength and carry 60% more runoff away from the greenhouse.

The Continental is recommended for all climates, from snow to sun. One of our customers says:

In the winter, our climate can be really challenging - winds in excess of 90 mph and snowfall. We have had 2-3' of snow in the gutters and they have stayed strong - no bowing or bending. These houses are as steady as a rock. ~ Bowdoinham, ME

In California where wind and heat can be the biggest challenges one customer says:

I have two Continental houses and they have the best growing environment  of any greenhouse I have ever been in. ~ Watsonville, CA

Another customer says:

Agra Tech has every right to be proud of the Continental. ~ Jerseyville, IL

For now there are 2 widths available, 30' or 40'. Let us know what your needs are and we can make it happen.

Note: Some of you may recognize the name Continental that has been absent for a while from our literature (but still being built). Well it is BACK and updated to meet today's new demands. The roof pitch has been lowered just enough to reduce the new IBC wind loads on it, but it still does a wonderful job of natural ventilation and keeping your crops cool below. The bottom chord will be flat (of course unless you want it arched). Curtain can be flat at the bottom chord or slope-flat-slope.

Client's Testimonial

It has worked out well for all of us and it’s a great relationship. Of the 274 greenhouses we have, all but 19 of them are from Agra Tech. Jim Bergantz, our rep from Agra Tech sells them to us; John Pound advises us: Anita Pound helps to engineer the structures and Ray Pound’s company Ag-Con in San Jose, CA does all of the construction. The people at Agra Tech are easy to work with and every time we’ve gone to them with requests, design modifications and things like that—they’re always willing to make it happen for us.
